a Man has many skins

I found this beautiful poem by Meister Eckhart:
A man has many skins in himself,
covering the depths of his heart.
Man knows so many things
he does not know himself.
Go into your own ground and learn to know yourself there.

What I have found in my own life is that "knowing My Self" has been the hardest.  It is so much easier for me to see other's "stuff", but to my own: I am blind
Supporting my Self and Others to uncover more of the "skins" or peeling it, has been so much part of my journey.  Finding tools to bring the unconscious to our awareness.Using chirology for the last 12 years and recently also discovering SoulCollage(R) excites me.
It is when it is "unconscious" that it bites us in the back.  Once our patterns, secret thoughts, belief systems has come into awareness (or the Light) it is not in darkness anymore - and that is just it!  Nothing to do, just bring it to the Light.

I drew this card recently, and my first feeling was Fear?  I then realised that it spoke to me of simplicity and the way I have created my life has been through "complexity" it's as if  I find Simplicity boring.
It was also interesting that someone lend me a book on North Nodes (synchronicity) and I found that my North   Node is in Scorpion which talk about creating your life experiences through intensity.  Just another skin!  It made so much sense and brought a sense of "acceptance.

I am the One Who

Speaking from "i am the One Who",  you become One with the picture and speak as if you are the person/s object, animal in the picture.  Use this picture to speak from if you so wish.  Ask a question and answer yourself with "I am the One Who" from the picture.  This was the first card I drew and actually drew it a few times after that again; having only 10 cards to chose from:-) Everytime it had more/ different to say. For me it is a Council Card (Archetype) and I called it Shaman.  I am the One Who ... dances to my own drum.  I am the One who connects Heaven and Earth. 
Today it is: I am the One Who is Never Alone; I am the One Who is Protected and Treasured.

The Beginning

Where is the beginning? Who knows. The beginning of this blog though is to share with you my journey,mostly with SoulCollage. But also with anything related to Soul and Art. Which is basically everything.
What is SoulCollage(R)
It is a simple process that was designed by Seena Frost, a marriage and family councillor in Santa Cruz, California. It evolved out of her love for art, spirituality and psychotherapy.
It is a process in which you create your own deck of collaged cards, from found images. The cards are used for the primary purpose of self-exploration and self-acceptance.
The system is based on the principle that there is one Source (understood by different names in different systems) from which everything manifests - the Many that comes from Source. The deck we make is the evolving collage of our Soul.
You create one card at a time with one energy per card. You discover your own inner and outer guides and challengers. Once the cards are created, you consult our cards with the question: "I am the one Who...." to answer our own questions.
I am a trained SoulCollage(R) facilatator and facilitates one day intro workshops in which you can learn the basics of making your own deck.
It is fun to make cards with others. It can also be done with friends, family,groups, children and many other settings. Eg. Make cards for a baby shower, wedding shower and other ceremonies.
